SOFTWARE HOUSE, EXETER, DEVON

Small software, made properly.

World X Digital designs and builds software: a booking and course system for training centres, and instruments and effects for musicians. One developer, Devon-based, writing code since 2009. Websites for trades and local businesses are built next door under our sister brand, Exeter Digital Agency.

What we make

Three products, each built because we needed it ourselves and nothing on the market did the job the way it should.

Software for your business

If your business runs on spreadsheets, a paper diary and three apps that do not talk to each other, we build the one thing that replaces them.

  • Booking and scheduling systems
  • Customer portals and logins
  • Quoting, job tracking and invoicing tools
  • Admin screens for the work you do every day
  • Hosted and looked after by us, on UK servers

How it is quoted

Bespoke software is quoted through Exeter Digital Agency, from £3,500, fixed in writing after a short call about how your business actually runs. TrainKit started as exactly this kind of job.

About World X Digital

World X Digital is David Pathey-Johns, a qualified heating engineer and plumber in Exeter who has been building software and websites since 2009, first for his own trade business and then for others. The web design work moved to the Exeter Digital Agency name in 2026 so that each name does one job: World X Digital for software, Exeter Digital Agency for websites.
